2020: Seeing Only What is Right Before Us

I went to look up what a 20/20 vision meant as I recalled in 2010, that 20/10 vision meant perfect vision, seeing twice as far, which was an important asset at that point.

To my surprise, having a 20/20 vision does not necessarily mean that we have perfect vision as commonly believed. It is a term used to express normal visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision) measured at a distance of 20 feet. So, if we have 20/20 vision, it means we can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance.

V: “This year, you can’t see far. Only what is right before you. Deal with things as they appear.”

Not Far But Clear

V continued:

“One task, one step a time. Vision is limited to what’s right in front of you. Don’t worry what is in store in future. Spiritually and physically, it is too foggy ahead. Just watch the present. 20/20 vision may mean you will not see into the future perfectly well but it also means that you will see clearly what is presently needed.”

20/20 VISION MAY MEAN YOU WILL NOT SEE INTO THE FUTURE PERFECTLY WELL BUT IT ALSO MEANS THAT YOU WILL SEE CLEARLY WHAT IS PRESENTLY NEEDED

Yes, although the Lord has shown me that this is a Year of Good Works, this also means that we only do good in the situation before us, without the need for any big plans ahead. We cannot see, cannot pre-empt and cannot plan for it anyway…

“I turn 60 in 2020. Feeling the fatigue Lord. How long more do I carry this burden – your burden Lord - getting heavy… This weary world awaits your redemption once again.”
