Towards the end of our worship meeting, I remembered the beautiful video of the huge double rainbow over Sabah that HC had sent earlier. But a word popped up in my mind - “Earthquakes”.
We were sent to Sabah a few years ago to pray for the healing of Mount Kinabalu after an unexpected earthquake killed some Singapore children climbing the mountain on their school expedition. I wondered what God is telling me, a bit concerned as KK and HC are from there.
As I tapped on my phone to journal this, I suddenly thought about Nepal.
Then I sensed these words: “Earthquake and landslides.”
“Oh dear”, I thought to myself, “The difficult times of 2020 is not over for them yet? They definitely need the grace and protection of God for the rest of this year.”
The final worship song came on at that instant:
“ε¨θΏιγε¨θΏιγη₯ε¨θΏι”
“In this place, in this place, God is in this place”
“ε¨θΏιγε¨θΏιγη₯ε¨θΏι”
''IN THIS PLACE, IN THIS PLACE, GOD IS IN THIS PLACE"
I was overjoyed. I looked out of the window of Joanna’s flat. And saw rivers of living waters gushing down the otherwise dry stream. Praise God. Thank you, Lord, for remembering Nepal. β€οΈ
This is how we sometimes are led to pray for other people or places. We intercede only when we are Spirit led, usually when we are worshipping God.
