The Dragon, The Eagle and the Serpent

After I wrapped up the first twelve posts for 2025: The Year of Exponentiation, the enemy launched a series of bizarre and relentless attacks at a gunfire pace in our communities. In one of our cities in China, the earth started to quake rather badly, in a region which has not seen an earthquake for 120 years. Good thing we have the triangular battle strategy in place that everyone was able to swing into action without hesitation or fear. It would have been too much for any of us to bear otherwise.
During our Monday morning worship meeting today, I saw a heavenly battle going on and four big and bold Chinese words: 世界大乱 (Worldwide Chaos).
I continued worshiping God.
Then I saw heavenly angels come down like the Avengers and Superheroes. They lifted people from the fire and wars raging below. Followed by eagles and condors which swooped others into their wings, flying higher and higher, before placing them on safe ground.
As we sang of God’s undying love, I thanked Him profoundly for this love, invincible and powerful, for us.
The Serpent from the Deep
Next, I saw a vision of a fiery red and angry dragon and a majestic eagle flying in the sky. And coming out from the deep, a huge serpent. I have seen this recently when I was praying for the community in China who have been rattled by many aftershocks.
Feeling that this is something that requires further insight since I am seeing it again, I paused to draw and scribble it down in my worship journal.
V: There is going to be a ferocious battle waged against the Great Serpent and his baby snakes. And if the Eagle and the Dragon would join forces instead of fighting each other, they would have a chance to defeat this Great Serpent and save everyone from the fire and the water.
After that, I saw the serpent and the snakes burned with fire – the liars, the cunning, the haughty, with poison in their tongues. And then I saw the sun shining brightly, and these words came:
The Son will rise with righteousness in His wings, like the Sun.
And I saw the sun start to shine brightly in the sky.
No more fighting. No more turbulence and chaos.
Phew. I felt I could breathe easier and continued with my worship.

But what is with the new power, the huge serpent, that has come into play?
That Green Serpent
Eleven years ago, one of my mentors was taking two ladies, one an ex-Muslim lady who has an amazing testimony of her encounters with the Lord, on a speaking trip to Australia. Knowing I visit this city often as my daughter is studying there, they invited me along. We shared an apartment hotel. On the first two nights, I had strange dreams.
The first night, I saw a really huge green serpent lurking in it while I was on what looked like the slow river ride of “It’s a Small Small World” in Disneyland. It weaved itself stealthily around the many pretty dolls of boys and girls in national costumes from all over the world. I still recall the smirk on its face.
The next morning, when I described the dream, the ex-Muslim lady mentioned that it is the spirit of Islam because green is the colour of Islam. And added that this serpent is presenting itself because of her. It is coming for her.
The second night, I had a bad dream which caused my bed to rattle and shake as I tried hard to fight off some powerful black magic all night which seemed to have come from a rustic village far away. My roommate said she heard my bed creaking badly as I tossed from side to side through the night but thought I was just uncomfortable with the bed.
So the next morning, while the three ladies went out to the local churches to share her testimony, I felt I needed to stay behind to worship God and cover them in prayer instead.
Alone in the apartment, I went into a deep spiritual worship immediately after they left. My daughter is in this city and I don't fancy any black magic coming to this place.
At one point, when both my arms were raised high, a huge tornado started to form in my hands. Then I hurled it with a huge force back to wherever this black magic is coming from. I could hear a series of very loud breaking and crashing sounds as the tornado smashed a little hut and possibly parts of a village into smithereens and took the entire debris up, sending it all to Lalaland.
I slept very well from that night till the end of our trip.
I have not seen this great serpent since then. Until now.
Although this time round, I cannot recall if it was green or not. But it was huge and had many many little snakes following, all coming up from the deep.
Hmmm, I thought… a hidden power and army that is coming up from the deep.
While I tried to fathom this, the enemy went into full assault. A million thoughts came into my mind, making my mind clouded and stressed; my attempt to write about this serpent too heavy. It was hard to put down if they were from my soul or from V.
Members of the community too are swamped with one relentless attack after another. I was especially concerned about Florence and Louis as they make their way to Taiwan where God has opened a door for his cancer treatment, as they have run out of medical options in Singapore.
Then, I caught a bad flu, and for a couple of days after a trip, my body was wrecked with fever and chills, with no mental faculty or capacity left in me to continue. Weak and helpless in bed, I could only pray - for our members, for myself and for my family members facing some medical issues, taking comfort in the verse: God’s strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We upheld each other up with the joy of the Lord and chose to rejoice. For only in this joy we will find strength even if we were unable to meet together to worship and pray.
So, here I go again.

Until God refills my mental and emotional bank.
