5/12/23 Enroute Singapore to Perth
For three nights in a row, I was awoken in the early hours to pray. I had little sleep last night too as I had to leave at 4.45 am for the airport.
Today, on the plane, enroute to Perth, Florence messaged:
“Louis’ scan result was not good, the cancer marker was very high, some new tumor growth, the current treatment is not effective and they are putting him on new oral medication daily. Tks for upholding him in prayer šš»”
I replied: “I remembered I was praying for a “liver transplant” for Louis by the Lord. Without surgery. For two nights in a row. That’s when I knew his physical liver was failing… we need a miraculous transplant for him from the Lord.”
But alas, I am so exhausted in spirit, mind and body. I am not sure if I have enough fight in me to shake heavens and earth for Louis.
I thought, perhaps Perth is where I can fully recharge and pray.
I started to read a special feature from the weekend edition of the Financial Times I have brought.
When I first saw it, it reminded me of a time when God said it’s the year of the women.
“Ah, so that was in the spirit realm. Perhaps now the women have surfaced,” I thought to myself.
Then V said: You don’t have to worry about Louis. Because he has a powerful warrior woman with him. I have given him Florence [his wife], fully empowered and equipped for this battle.
Ha-ha, yes so right and thank you Lord. This demure looking lady but what a violent warrior she is when the Spirit moves in her.
Incidentally, the day before, my youngest daughter and I had a good chat at home. After all the years of fighting her way to be independent since she was 12, she is now ready to walk through some of life’s lessons with me – after fifteen years! But honestly, I have aged. I am tired. I do not know if I possess the passion and energy to fight all these battles and mother her all over again.
On the plane, I was prompted to watch the Barbie movie when they served breakfast. Towards the end, this sentence caught my attention.
“We mothers stand still so our daughters can look back to see how far they’ve gone.”
I knew that V is talking about my daughter:
“This is her moment. The Pivot. Your role as mother is to simply watch her step into her role as a woman. She does not need you to hold her hands at all. She just needs you to see how far she has gone.”
I breathed a sigh of relief. Ah yes, my 5413. My sons and daughters will be taught by Him; great will be my children’s peace (Isaiah 54:13) which God had promised me more than twenty years ago.
Yes Lord, the moment has come. The Pivot. Where your mighty warrior women will move to the forefront - the women in COBS, my daughters and all the women we have raised and trained. And probably many more in the world whom You have prepared for such a time.
Now, we only have to watch them and see how far they go.
